Born in Charlotte. Started mountain biking in 1998. In 2001, I broke my leg when swerving to avoid a rabbit. I now have enough titanium in my leg to build a decent bike frame. I joined the Trailblazers in 2002 at the urging of Tom Waldron a fellow Rank Rider. Tom convinced me that the trails did not maintain themselves. After attending IMBA trail school at Renaissance Park, I decided, I enjoyed all the controversy associated with root removal and here I am today.
