Volunteer Coordinator - Paul Bellin
I grew up partially around the Midwest but ultimately ended up in Colorado where I lived for about 23 years. After school my career took me from Colorado to California (L.A.), back to Colorado, on back to California (San Fran) and then to Charlotte in early 1999. Most days I ride a desk for my sponsor in the insurance industry. I've been riding mtn & road bikes off and on for some years now but didn't really get seriously into either until after I moved to Charlotte when I somehow quickly fell into the biking community. As my interest in the sport and my riding picked up more and more, I started learning about the Trailblazers and other clubs and riding issues that affect our area and the sports overall. Knee surgeries then kept me off the bikes for awhile and made me realize how much I truly enjoyed riding and how much I missed the whole scene. I ultimately decided I could make up for that by doing more to help keep the riding community vital and keeping the local trail network as one of the best around. I've been active with the club for several years now, both with trail work and in supporting and helping at all sorts of events on our trails or that benefit the club and the riding community.
