Date Ridden: 01/01/1941  -  dawgnabbit of sommers, nc Route Taken: Park @ kiosk, climb up trail#1, take trail #8,trail#7,trail#6,take left onto trail#5,trail#4, take right onto trail#1,take trail#1 back up to top of mountain and take left onto trail#9...this trail if fun, fast, and can be full-of-hurt if you don't lose it,when it bottoms out and there are several steep climbs...you can either grunt out the climbs and the trail dumps out above the upper parking-lot, or take a left at the base of the climbs, the trail will have huge water bars blocking access to anything but atbs supposedly, this trail will empty out onto a gravel road, take a right onto the road and this will dump out onto the main road where you originally started Opinions: if you don't absolutely love this place...there's always roadcycling???
